Richard Parnell is well-known within the stringing industry, whether it is in the stringing room at Wimbledon, a stringing seminar given in Brazil or Vietnam or any other place around the world interested in the art of racket stringing. Richard has been stringing since the age of 8, with the last 30 years providing some of the world’s greatest tennis players with perfectly prepared equipment.
The last 20 or so years have been more geared to teaching and sharing his vast experience and knowledge and the culmination of this sharing is GRSA NSA. What better way to give back to the industry and community than to help people in need by using the art of racket stringing as the medium? GRSA NSA has become a reality after many years of private thought and a determination to make people aware of the possibilities of racket stringing as a source of sustainable income. Education through sport is the perfect combination and makes GRSA NSA a unique gateway to empowerment and sustainability.
The basis of Richard’s teaching is the “Aggregation of Marginal Gains” which, over the last 10 years, has helped thousands of stringers realize their true potential. Now, through GRSA NSA, someone in need of a helping hand can receive support and see some light at the end of the tunnel.
Richard never thought that stringing would become such an important part of his life and is excited at the prospect of touching others’ lives by sharing his knowledge and skills.
